L'Îlot des Palais imagines an activity based on visitor feedback

GPS rallies
For several years now, L'Îlot des Palais has been offering Geo Rallies. These have proved popular with visitors, who can discover Old Quebec in a fun and entertaining way. They work with GPS units loaned to the Îlot.
The development of digital technology on telephones, and especially its democratization among the general public, has enabled L'Îlot to imagine a new experience for visitors.
Participant feedback
Visitor feedback is an important source of information and learning for cultural and tourism institutions. They enable us to improve experiences and make changes where necessary. But they can also help create new ones.
This is what happened with L'Îlot. A number of GeoRally participants recommended that the activity should also be carried out using telephone devices. From there came the idea of using MySmartJourney's platform to create a first phone-based tour, “Old Quebec Incredible Stories!”. It unfolds around the neighborhood. Participants use their cell phones to access all the content available to them, once they've entered the right password.
