Ville de Bonaventure deploys mobile tourist terminals

Informing tourists outside the tourist office
The Gaspé town of Bonaventure welcomes tourists year-round, both for its beaches and its outdoor activities. To inform these visitors outside the tourist office and its opening hours, the team came up with the idea of placing mobile tourist stations in different parts of the town.
Tourist terminals installed in strategic locations
Signs enhanced with QR codes and NFC chips encourage tourists to discover the city's tourist attractions at strategic locations. These inform visitors where they can sleep and eat, as well as what beaches and activities are available.
Rather than having to search the city's website, tourists find what they're looking for easily and immediately, and are then sent back to the website if they need more information. In addition, they have access to a map of the town, a Google Form survey to get to know visitors better, and an FAQ offering in-depth information.
It's a solution that supports the tourist office team in its tasks during busy periods.
