Creating paid activities

Aux Trois Couvents is a museum dedicated to helping visitors discover and appreciate the historical and archaeological riches of the Côte-de-Beaupré region.

To learn more about Château-Richer's old convent, the museum complex came up with the idea of creating an interactive visitor experience in the form of a game of goose with riddles to solve. Quizzes, photos and reconstructions help visitors imagine what the town once looked like. As the tour has to be paid for, they have chosen to use a module to block access to the content.

The combination module, a feature for managing access to content

Les Trois Couvents opted to use the combination module. This feature allows content to be locked until a code is provided. Usually used for quizzes, the combination requires answering a question to access the next page.

As part of their project, posters containing QR codes are scattered around the museum. By scanning the QR code with their phone, visitors are redirected to a page inviting them to enter the password provided by the museum. If they don't have it, they can't solve the riddles and enjoy the activity.

To obtain the access code, participants must go to reception to purchase a ticket.
