Baie-Comeau's Sainte-Amélie church showcases its religious heritage

A perfect marriage of technology and history
Baie-Comeau's Sainte-Amélie Church is one of the North Shore's architectural and religious jewels. The industrial town thought of a solution to enhance the value of this exceptional religious heritage, and chose to use MySmartJourney to transport its visitors through time and space.
A unique interactive tour
To achieve this, a unique interactive tour was created, featuring 10 interactive points enhanced with QR codes. By scanning them, visitors plunge into a captivating audio guide that unveils all the church's well-hidden secrets: its origins, stained glass windows, frescoes, organ, bells, architecture and works of art by Guido Nincheri, famous for his paintings.
Like a privileged visitor, the tour takes us into previously unseen places, usually inaccessible to the public.
This project perfectly blends technology, history and religious heritage.
