Destination Sept-Îles offers an autonomous visitor experience

Making information efficient
As an international port of call, Sept-Îles welcomes many cruise passengers each year who come to discover the city. Time is often limited during a stopover, and visitors want to maximize their time to discover the tourist attractions that interest them.
Suzanne Cassista, Director of Destination Sept-Îles Nakauinanu, chose to use the MySmartJourney solution to offer her visitors a self-guided tour of the town, with precise, personalized information.
The “List” functionality
To make the experience complete and autonomous, the teams chose to use the “List” functionality. In the form of action buttons, visitors can quickly and easily access the information that interests them, such as “Visit the town”, “Stroll along the promenade”, “Buy a souvenir”, “Taste our local beer”, in both French and English.
This platform feature makes it possible to provide the right information at the right time, with contextualized, localized content.
