Routes limited to opening hours
L'Îlot des Palais offers its visitors a wide range of activities. Most of these rallies use equipment loaned by the establishment. As such, they take place only during Îlot des Palais opening hours.
L'Îlot had the idea of adapting to this by using MySmartJourney technology.
Routes accessible at any time of day
Since the tour deployed with the MySmartJourney solution doesn't require the loan of equipment, L'Îlot provides access to the “Old Quebec, Incredible Stories” activity outside opening hours. All they have to do is drop in during opening hours to collect the password, then they're free to finish the activity, even when the museum is closed.
During Halloween, participants were able to access the points at night, giving them a new experience of the tour.
