La Forge à Bérubé showcases its heritage with digital exhibition

Showcasing a rich heritage
Do you know La Forge à Bérubé?
It was here, in 1997, that the region's first storytelling festival was held. Since then, the Forge has become a performance venue, hosting such events as Rendez-vous des Grandes Gueules.
But the Forge à Bérubé is also an old blacksmith shop with a history and heritage that the Compagnons de la mise en valeur du patrimoine have decided to preserve and present using MySmartJourney technology.
Interactive discovery of a historic site
To do this, nothing could be simpler: they've deployed a digital exhibit inside the room with QR codes that engage visitors. They are invited to scan the seven posters scattered around the Forge with their smartphones.
Visitors will discover archival photos, original digital artwork and a wealth of information on the history of the building, its owner and the many activities that have taken place there over the years!
The exhibition was conceived and designed to highlight the history of the site, the people who have lived there and its importance in the Trois-Pistoles landscape.
