Create paying activities

The activities offered by L'Îlot des Palais are not free. To create their new digital experience, they came up with the idea of using a module to block access to content.

Using the combination module

L'Îlot chose to use the combination module. This module makes it possible to block content for as long as a code has not been given. Usually, the combination is used to make quizzes: a question is asked and you have to write down the answer to access the next page where additional content is available.

As part of their project, posters bearing the entry points to the route are scattered around the city. But if a walker scans one of the points, he's returned to a page inviting him to enter the password given by l'Îlot. If they don't have it, they can't access the content on offer, but they will find information on what the trail is and how to access it.

To obtain the access code, participants must go to the l'Îlot reception desk to buy a ticket and obtain the code.
