Pointe-à-Callière showcases historic objects

Historical objects
From March 2021 to January 2022, Pointe-à-Callière will be presenting the exhibition Montréal à l'italienne, focusing on Italian immigration to Montréal. The exhibition traces the influence of one of the island's oldest and largest immigrant cultural communities.
It features 325 objects that have served as the starting point for telling the story of this community. Project manager Samuel Moreau chose to use our techno solution to highlight the history of these objects.
Sublimating family treasures
Along the way, some fifteen points enhanced with QR codes and NFC chips enable visitors to test their knowledge and better understand the purpose of an object.
Objects illustrating culinary traditions, emblematic companies, important events, photographs, audiovisual documents and archives punctuate the high points experienced by these immigrants.
MySmartJourney's technology blends seamlessly into the décor of an existing exhibition, making history-laden content accessible to a wide audience in a fun and educational way.
