Accompanying travellers

The Routes du Patrimoine (Heritage Routes) are spread throughout the Témiscamingue region, offering visitors the chance to discover the various heritage attractions along the way. To better accompany travellers on their journey, the MRC de Témiscamingue came up with the idea of combining its routes with MySmartJourney technology.

An interactive itinerary

Kiosks enhanced with QR codes and NFC chips give way to a richer offering, enabling the MRC to inform travelers even more, while highlighting the attractions crossed by the route. It's another way of anchoring them to the region.

The content allows travellers to find out more about the location of the kiosk. Behind the kiosk are images, texts and even an interactive map, which can be used to locate the point of interest and learn more about it.
