Tourisme Montréal deploys easy-to-distribute ephemeral content

Providing information during major events
Throughout the year, the city of Montreal hosts major events that generate large crowds, such as the Montreal Grand Prix, the Jazz Festival and many others. During these events, the Tourisme Montréal office receives visitors with questions that are unique to them.
The Tourism Office has therefore come up with a simple and effective means of communication to accompany this specific audience: “pocket posters”.
Mobile flyers
In the form of a leaflet, easy to carry and keep with you, these “pocket posters” are enriched with a QR code. Tourist Bureau employees keep these posters with them during the week of the event, and can easily have them scanned by visitors who need them. Behind the QR code is interactive content specific to the event, or the week in question, with specific information updated in real time.
In this way, the displays can be used in nomadic mode, enabling agents stationed in the city's tourist attractions to answer visitors' questions, even away from the Old Montreal reception desk.
